Supply chain

Whether we’re building a commercial office in London, a school in Bristol or a railway in Manchester, our supply chain partners are essential to our success.

We spend £1.3 billion annually with our 5,750 suppliers who share our commitment to being safe, green, diverse and ethical.

We work to develop collaborative relationships, where we can work closely together to develop solutions that drive down costs, manage risk and improve sustainability standards. We have a structured relationship management and development programme, which includes the BS44001 standard.

In the wider industry, we are collaborating with other main contractors. This is to help deliver the Construction 2025 targets – 33% Lower costs, 50% faster and 50% lower emissions – as well as support the award winning Supply Chain Sustainability School The School now has over 40,000 members and 100 partners upskilling their supply chains.

The majority of our spend is with small and medium size businesses, which are often close to our project sites and offices – helping to support local people and the economy.
