Skanska has begun designing and constructing The Walbrook, a striking new office and retail development in the heart of the City of London. Whilst construction is underway, the site will be one of the largest in London.

Developing the project

Skanska has combined its in-house skills to offer Minerva an unrivalled combination of expertise, including involvement in design of the Walbrook, Office and Retail development.

Constructing the project

Main construction work has now commenced and Skanska were able to offer the client a combination of expertise including, construction, mechanical and electrical engineering, piling, and steel decking.

Benefits for the client

The Walbrook will provide a gross area of 600,000 sq.ft, including 410,000 sq.ft of Grade A net letable area and 35,000 sq.ft of retail and restaurant accommodation. Furthermore, when complete The Walbrook will boast a feature 50 metre-long frontage on Cannon Street.
