The correct answer to last months quiz question.......
"What is Up-Helly-Aa"
This is thought to be Britains biggest fire festival and torchlight procession. 1,000 years after the Vikings invaded Scotland the people of Shetland remember the Vikings by having a festival at the end of January with a model Viking ship which is dragged through the town to the sea where burning torches are tossed onto the ship creating a massive bonfire.
The correct answer was sent in by Tony and Jackie Clarke, for whom we have a bottle of champagne..........
