Our culture

We do not accept that ‘accidents will happen’. We want to set new standards when it comes to health and safety and believe an Injury-Free Environment on every one of our projects is achievable.

Our Injury-Free Environment (IFE) programme

Our IFE programme is designed to work with existing health and safety practices and programmes. We are committed to developing individual, cultural and organisational capacity to create and maintain a workplace in which nobody is harmed.

Through IFE we are challenging people's personal relationship to health and safety, to make us all act and think differently, such that we look out for one another to ensure everyone returns home from work safely to their family and friends. IFE goes beyond the workplace and provides an equal focus on the choices we make in our personal life.

Safety culture

Everybody working on our sites must attend a four-hour IFE "orientation". This is an introduction to the IFE culture, to reinforce our commitment to each person's safety and wellbeing. It's an opportunity to raise awareness levels of health and safety by making it personal, relevant and important, so it impacts our choices and actions.

We are proud of the stand we have taken to be injury-free, as a company and as individuals. We encourage all of our stakeholders to join us on our journey.
