2019: Net-zero carbon emissions by 2045 target announced
2016: One of the first contractors in the UK to achieve ISO14001:2015 certification
2016: Contributed to the development of PAS 2080, the new standard for managing infrastructure carbon
2015: Skanska UK President and CEO, Mike Putnam appointed as Chair of the Green Construction Board
2015: One of 50 companies globally to trial the Natural Capital Protocol
2015: First Deep Green project delivered in the UK – Bentley Works
2014: Received the Financial Times ArcelorMittal Boldness in Business Award for our approach to green
2014: Received the Construction News Sustainable Company of the Year Award
2014: Launched a trial of electric vehicles which has led to us now having over 120 electric vehicles and hybrids in our company car fleet
