Our highly experienced teams are working collaboratively and in joint venture to support delivery of HS2. The new high speed railway will improve connections across the UK, add more capacity and is expected to carry more than 300,000 passengers a day when fully operational. It will also help the UK reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Delivering high speed rail infrastructure
Building for a carbon neutral future
It’s not just what we build, but how. We’re finding ways to deliver HS2 that cut carbon and cost. As the biggest infrastructure project in Europe, we have the opportunity through our work on HS2 to collaborate with our partners in developing and implementing new construction techniques that deliver a step-change and long-lasting benefits for our industry.
Leaving a lasting legacy
Through our work on HS2 we will leave more than a physical legacy by supporting people and communities. We aim to boost local economic growth, jobs opportunities and community cohesion, ensuring that the areas where we operate can benefit long after the project has completed.
Empowering engineers of the future
We are helping to create a more inclusive and diverse industry as we recruit the next generation of engineers. Working together with our partners and supply chain we’re ensuring that local communities are well placed to benefit from opportunities the project will create over the next two decades.
