Spectacular views across London
The 18-storey T-shaped building provides 272,500sqft (25,315sqm) of office space for businesses looking for accommodation in the City of London. Designed by architect Sheppard Robson, it has a south-facing terrace on the 15th floor that provides spectacular views across the capital.
Skanska was responsible for the construction, the mechanical and electrical engineering and the installation of services within the main plant rooms.
Exquisite finishing touches
With a BREEAM excellent environmental rating, the City of London development has a 7,000sqft (650sqm) entrance hall with its own café for office workers.
Tenants also have use of the building’s high-quality changing and shower facilities, finished to the standard of a private sports club, with 500 lockers.
A good neighbour
During construction, the project team established a strong relationship with the Sir John Cass's Foundation Primary School which is next to the site. Skanska volunteers took part in various activities, including supporting a road safety day and helping to improve the school’s garden areas.
The One Creechurch Place site twice received a City of London Considerate Contractor Scheme gold award. The project was also given a silver and two bronze awards in the Considerate Constructors Scheme National Site Awards.
