A track record of success
We are well placed to support the transformation of the UK’s military forces, outlined in the government’s 2021 defence review. Our open and collaborative approach is designed to ensure we deliver efficient and effective projects for the armed forces, together with the MoD and DIO.
We are experienced in delivering very complex major projects in high security operational military facilities and we recognise the importance of delivering best value.
As a global construction and development company, we draw on our worldwide expertise in innovation and modern methods of construction to deliver reductions in cost, carbon and programme time – without compromising on quality.
A whole force model approach
We have in-depth experience of delivering for the whole-force model, that enables us to effectively collaborate with regular and reserve military personnel, together with civilians and contractors.
This means we understand the different challenges and synergies across these groups and how to find solutions that work for all.
Our partnering expertise has seen us deliver successful alliancing models benefitting customers across the water, gas and rail sectors.
This approach has allowed us to build strong relationships with all defence programme partners, plus our extensive supply chain so that we are equipped to deal with unexpected challenges. Our collaborative approach coupled with know how and agility allows us to overcome complex issues and keep programmes on track.
And it’s not just in the construction phase. We’ve been recognised by the Institute of Collaborative Working for our ISO44001 certified relationship with the Ministry of Defence and Amey at MoD Whitehall, where we deliver a range of facilities management services, including maintaining the fabric of the building.
