We successfully upgraded the telephone system at Barts and The Royal London hospitals, with 12,500 extensions, to a new voice-over-IP system. The devices for each extension were repogrammed over a two-week preiod, as part of the upgrade.
The existing clinical paging system, with 1,200 pagers, was also replaced. This included the installation of 32 new antenna together with associated infrastructure and cabling.
