Employee networks

Skanska has an inclusive culture, where differences are valued and individuality embraced. One of the ways we support this is through our influential employee network groups. These are made up of people who share similar values of supporting and encouraging encouraging inclusion and diversity.

LGBT+ Network

Our LGBT+ network extends far wider than Skanska. We're committed to making the industry more open and connected and are part of the LGBT+ in Construction Working Group. The group represents the industry to promote construction as a diverse and great place to work.

Womxn's network

The Womxn's network is a group of people who have come together to support women in Skanska. This employee-led group provides resources to encourage and retain the skilled and talented women across our business.’

Mental health and wellbeing

This network supports Skanska's overall mental wellbeing strategy including our group of over 350 mental health ambassadors and mental health first aiders, plus resources to support suicide prevention.

Origins Nationality Ethnicity (O.N.E) network

The O.N.E network is an employee-led group of people who have come together to support the Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities in Skanska.

Disability and Carers network

Our Disability and Carers network aims to increase awareness of the challenges those with disabilities and caring responsibilities may face.

Military network

We work with the military and its related charities, such as the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), to help employees in their transition to civilian employment. We help them build a structured career path, with the essential support and networks in place, to help them succeed after they join.
