Rated platinum for sustainability

For three years running we have won the Sustainable Facilities Management Index (2021 – 2023). We have also received a platinum rating – the highest possible – from the index, for nine years in a row.

The index, which reports annually, measures the sustainability of facilities management companies in the UK.  Our approach to cutting carbon has been highlighted as industry leading by the index.

Healthy green buildings

We have a wealth of experience in green and healthy buildings and extensive practical application of the BREEAM, LEED and WELL standards.

WELL is the leading tool for advancing health and wellbeing in buildings, taking into account both the structure of the building, its operation and management, and the people who use it.

Across Europe and the UK, Skanska is delivering 17 WELL projects, totalling 4.07 million sqft (378,115 sqm) and 9 per cent of WELL projects in the region.

We work in partnership with you to manage the certification process, using our inhouse appointed persons for BREEAM, LEED and WELL.

Our own London office is preparing for WELL certification (target Platinum), so we have first-hand knowledge of implementing and maintaining this standard.
