Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, Local Government East is bringing together public and private sector leaders to shape a unified regional vision for the future of the East of England.

Chaired by Jack Abbott, MP for Ipswich and Mission Champion for the East of England, the conference will explore how the region can secure vital infrastructure investment through collaboration between local authorities, industry, academia and private partners.

Alongside keynote speeches, the day will include four interactive workshops, exhibitions and networking.

Terry Muckian, Executive Vice President, is one of the featured speakers, representing Skanska’s perspective on regional growth and infrastructure. In addition, Anthony Arkle, Head of Public Affairs and Scott Clark, Key Account Director, are taking part in the Transportation Workshop, looking at how we (contractors, councils, govt, public bodies, supply chain) can work together to ensure the transformational infrastructure projects needed to support long‑term prosperity across the region are successfully delivered.
