SRW engineering services, part of project development and construction business Skanska UK, has secured a contract, following a competitive tender process, to install the primary services and undertake the fit-out of five new large sound stages for Sir Robert McAlpine, on behalf of Pinewood Studios Group.
The contract, due to complete in June 2016, will see the team delivering many services, including:
- Provision of all primary services
- Installation of all back of house lighting and power requirements within the studios
- Installation of all telecommunications requirements.
The team is working seamlessly with Sir Robert McAlpine, the primary contractor, to deliver the demanding project, which includes the construction of five full-sized studios that, on completion, will be used by film TV and film companies.
