Skanska appoint Dean Sporn Operations Director in its infrastructure business

Dean Sporn will join Skanska in the new year from National Highways.

For the past eight years, Dean has worked in the Major Projects directorate at National Highways as Director of Enhancements. During his tenure, he has been responsible for multiple schemes including A417 Missing Link, M25 J10 and A30 Chiverton to Carland Cross.

Prior to National Highways, Dean spent seven years as General Manager of Australian based CPB Contractors, leading a $2billion dollar operation in New South Wales and New Zealand. This included projects in the road, rail, tunnelling and healthcare sectors.

Dean is a civil engineer with 30 years’ experience.

“Dean will bring extensive infrastructure experience to Skanska, from the UK and overseas, and I very much look forward to welcoming him to the team,” said Andrew English, Executive Vice President, Skanska UK.

“With his strong commitment to safety, quality and values-led approach, Dean will be an excellent addition to our highly experienced Infrastructure business.”

Dean will join Skanska in the new year.
