The ranking is based on surveys of more than 300,000 employees across multinational companies and institutions in over 50 countries.
“This recognition confirms that Skanska continues to be a dynamic and rewarding workplace where people can grow, thrive and make a real impact,” says Anders Danielsson, President and CEO of Skanska Group.
“It reflects our ongoing efforts to attract and retain top talent and build strong, high-performing teams. From conversations with colleagues across Skanska, it’s clear that our work culture directly contributes to both personal well-being and business success.”
The Forbes survey, conducted by market research firm Statista, asked participants whether they would recommend their employer to family and friends and rated companies on factors such as work-life balance, career development, and diversity.
“The ranking also highlights our strong values and evolving culture,” says Therese Tegner, Executive Vice President for Human Resources at Skanska Group.
“It’s a testament to the progress we’ve made in shaping our Employee Value Proposition and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.”
Our own YVOS annual employee survey reinforces the Forbes results.
“Our latest results show something truly important: our people feel that their work contributes meaningfully to our purpose of building a better society,” says Therese.
“With 88% confirming this, and 90% feeling their skills are well used, we are proud but also motivated to keep strengthening the employee experience.”
