Kvaerner Construction has just completed a £2.5 million fit-out contract at Watling House in London’s Cannon Street, a building it also constructed.
The contract was awarded by Crestco Limited which has let much of the building from Kvaerner’s original client The British Land Company plc.
The fit-out job included work on the ground, first, second and third floors of the six storey building which is close to St Paul’s Cathedral.
Kvaerner provided new M&E installations; new data cabling; new partitions and drylining; kitchen fit-outs; new carpets and floor finishes; alterations to existing raised floors and suspended ceilings; new security installations and new lift lobby doors.
The job was completed on site during the first week of May, following just three months of work.
