Skanska UK Plc will be the new name for the parent company of the
construction service business in the UK.
Skanska Construction Group Ltd has been renamed Skanska UK Plc to reflect the businesses total focus on the UK market.
David Fison, Chief Executive of Skanska UK Plc said, “Our previous name represented what we used to be - a group of companies working independently around the world.
“Skanska UK Plc clearly represents what we are today - one company with a number of core operating units, focused solely on the UK marketplace that can be easily integrated to provide a construction service to our clients that shows real benefits.
“We are pleased with the way this integrated approach has been succeeding in the marketplace. Recent schemes have included the completion of London’s latest landmark - 30 St Mary Axe and the Ministry of Defence’s headquarters in Whitehall
The names of individual operating units will be unaffected by this name
change.
