Skanska’s mining and tunneling company Cementation has bolstered its international operations with the appointment of Howard Stones as commercial director for the UK, Australia, South Africa and Canada.
Prior to joining Cementation, Stones was commercial director for specialist tunneling company Laserbore and also worked in Thailand for five years as commercial manager for a UK/Japanese joint venture on a £100 million tunneling project. He has also been a regional commercial manager for Costain.
He is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
