Kvaerner Construction’s specialist mechanical, electrical and facilities services company, Kvaerner Rashleigh Weatherfoil, has secured two London-based jobs worth a combined total of £9 million.
The company has started work on a £4 million contract for Shepherd Construction at Hayes Park in Hillingdon, which is expected to be complete in June 2000. This project includes the installation of air conditioning and heating systems in three buildings. Prefabrication of pipework by Bedford Fabrications, Kvaerner Rashleigh Weatherfoil’s prefabrication division, Bedford Fabrications, will be used to enhance the installation programme.
The company is already working with Kvaerner Trollope & Colls at Warner Bros’ new ten storey headquarters in Theobalds Road, Holborn, where it has been awarded a £5 million contract to install new mechanical and electrical systems. Included in the project, which is already underway, are the latest energy saving solutions as well as heating, chilled ceilings and ventilation systems.
