On behalf of our customer, we are carrying out the structural refurbishment and mechanical, electrical and public health fit out of an existing 11-storey commercial-office building.
We will also install the new cladding, construct three new office floors and a new reception.
To deliver a transparent approach throughout the tender process, the team worked closely with our customer. This helped them find solutions to any challenges they faced, which resulted in the customer’s bespoke requirements being achieved. This will deliver a modern, sustainable building, located in the heart of the vibrant Canary Wharf community.
The building is targeting BREEAM Outstanding and the WELL Building Standard – Platinum accreditations.
As part of the of the refurbishment, we are also carrying out the mechanical, electrical and public health fit out to a category A standard. This is a large project in its own right and includes the shell and core of the building.
We will be installing a range of systems, including everything from electrical plant to lighting, heating, ventilation and the lifts. We will also be installing data and IT systems, including smart technology. There will be a significant amount of plant on the roof and new plant rooms in the basement. We will also be commissioning all the new systems – to ensure that they are working correctly.
