Green Solutions Water
A large proportion of the water used on site is for dust suppression or road sweeping. A large proportion of this is collected from highway runoff / site runoff rather than using mains / potable water. Where mains water is used washdown hydrants are used in preference to potable water hydrants. We need to improve our recording of grey / recycled water use to compare with the potable water which we have good records of.
