The breakfast session, entitled “Standardising green in commercial buildings: essential or nice to have?” will be held on 20 April in a London hotel. It will see up to 40 guests from across the industry discuss the key issues relating to this subject.

Paul Heather Managing Director, who will introduce the session said: “Green Sky Thinking is really important because it’s all about making London more sustainable. Skanska has been playing a big part in helping the capital to do that. Our award winning approach to sustainability has been recognised throughout the industry. And that’s why we’re supporting this week of special events.

“We believe all commercial buildings should be environmentally friendly. And we think there are huge benefits in adopting a standard approach.”

Skanska experts Sharon Mungovan and Chris Pottage will talk about the company’s green construction expertise and its involvement in the World Green Building Council’s research about healthy buildings.

Now in its fifth year, Green Sky Thinking Week is run by independent educational organisation Open-City, which aims to help create better places where we can live and work.
