Work well underway at 50 Queen Anne's Gate

Pictured is the newly erected Tower Crane at 50 Queen Anne's Gate, Skanska's latest commercial construction scheme in London. Skanska is designing and refurbishing the 51,000sq.m building at 50 Queen Anne's Gate for Land Securities plc under a £100 million contract.

The erection of the tower crane symbolises an important milestone in the continuing works on the scheme, which includes façade and roof refurbishment, a complete internal strip out and the installation of new services, lifts, toilets, staff restaurant, conferences facilities, new ground floor entrance and courtyard atria space as well as the creation of new open plan and cellular office areas on all floor levels from ground to fourteenth.

Skanska is currently working on the new headquarters for The Crown Estate on Regent's Street and the Palestra building on the south bank. This latest award follows the successful completion of two prestigious developments in the UK capital, London's latest landmark - 30 St Mary Axe and the Moor House development in Moorgate.
