Skanska UK has announced the appointment of Jon Morris as Managing Director for Cementation Skanska, the company’s piling and foundations business, on a permanent basis.
Morris took on the role temporarily in May 2017. He will now also become a permanent member of Skanska UK’s Senior Management Team (SMT).
Morris started in Cementation Skanska in 1999. He held a number of different roles across design, business development, R&D and operations, before leaving Skanska in 2004 to work in geotechnical consultancy and ground investigation. He returned to the company in 2009 to join its civil engineering business improvement team, re-joining Cementation Skanska in March 2015 as Technical Director.
