Skanska sponsors the 2013 Woking Cycle Tour Series
Following the transformation of Woking town centre's streets into a high-speed, professional race circuit, local schoolchildren, residents and businesses had the opportunity to become `Kings and Queens of the road' by taking part in community races.
Skanska sponsored the event and winners of the children’s junior and senior races were presented with medals on the tour series presentation podium by Russell Hallmark, Business Director for Skanska’s mechanical and electrical division.
Skanska entered their own cycle team who took part in the Community Business Cycle race. Despite their best efforts and much cheering from the Skanska staff at Hollywood House the team the team were pipped to the post by the competition.
