Press release 31/08/2012 10:00 CET

At Burnhaven School in Peterhead, Scotland, Skanska staff and local trade contractors have worked over two weeks to complete the refurbishment of the toilets and cloakroom into bright and modern facilities. The team carried out work, including: new walls, windows, lighting, flooring, cubicles and mirrors, as well as the installation of two state-of-the-art Dyson hand driers.

All the work was carried out free-of-charge by Skanska who is currently constructing HMP Grampian, due for completion in the summer of 2013.

Gareth Jacques, Skanska’s Project Director, HMP Grampian comments: “Since the team started working on the new prison back in February they have engaged with the local community and enjoy working with our trade contractors to make a difference to peoples’ everyday lives.

“We are looking forward to taking on our next task.”
